As an HVAC guy about 5 years ago I got into this great IR field. I just joined this forum so if this has been brought up sorry-I have found new and inovative ways to use IR for air balancing and commisioning.

Anyone else have this luck. I would like to share ideas.

I can't be the only HVAC /IR guy out there or am I the only one that has found a niche. John Snell talk to me. IR is the greatest thing since the circuit breaker I can't tell you the oooos and ahhs I get when I show a customer the IR image of there compressor or unit problem that was merely written with pressures and /or temp's and now has something visual to give to their bean counter.I can't express how ,or maybe I should keep this miracle to myself, how this great technology has improved the trouble shooting I have had before.Meters and thermometers are sticks and rocks compared to IR. Forgive me but where else can I express my passion for IR than amoung fellow thermographers. I know --get a life-- but my new life has been IR since I saw my first pic.
