I've been asked by someone I know about this equipment. In the spec they are bidding it says Bullard or Equal. I've found Bullard & ISG on the web so far. Does anyone know any other mfg's that are designed specifically for fire fighters?

Jeff check out the MSA product.  MSA supplies a ton of fire fighter equipment and gear.  Their imager is very impressive, but lacks one thing, no way to capture images.  Other than that the camera packs features you would normally see in the 20k range.  I think their new one is in the 15k range.  They use a radio signal from the imager and pick it up remotely.  I would think the device picking up the remote signal could be modified in some way, or use a completly different device to pick up the signal that has recording ability.

MSA is one of the largest, if not the largest, supplier of safety equipment in the USA.  They have locations and distributors throughout the country so any future product support or service would not be a problem.
