Does anyone know where I can purchase software for my Ratheon TVS-620  camera? I have the old software but it does not work with the newer Windows operating system. My camera was purchased in 1998. I recall the manufacturer wanted an arm and leg for an update which was a rip off for the cost of the camera. Also I hear the Explorer IR is the same camera.

By the newer Windows OS I'm guessing you mean Vista?

I don't know how widely its supported by camera manufacturers, but I do have a temporary fix. You can set up your PC to 'dual boot' both Vista and your old copy of XP, which lets you choose the OS you want to run when you switch on.

This way you can keep your old software working with your Vista machine without having to pay for an upgrade.

A lot of my friends use this technique to let them play old games on new computers, so its quite well documented on the net. Stick "dual booting xp and vista" into Google and you should get a number of step-by-step guides.
