    Javier,

When I started my company just about 4 years ago, I bought a 928... it is an incredible camera - definitely not as fancy as some on the market today.  It has a 50mm lens (pretty narrow f.o.v.), but can still focus down to about 18" or so.  The picture quality is superb, the 60hz refresh rate is what sold me.  It has the voice annotation mic built right into the camera, which is very convenient.  And, it came with a big display in addition to the eyepiece viewfinder.  The drawbacks are the eyepiece viewfinder - it's not great, but definitely comes thru in bright sunshine - otherwise I use the big display.  My camera has thousands of hours of use & even though I've worn out several buttons, I never have any reservations about picking it up for the next job... I am completely confident that it will work.

About a year later, I bought the TS8 (not the S version - that had not come out yet).  The features on this one are great... laser pointer, visual camera, on-board mic for voice annotations, blue tooth & best of all a 3" touch screen display for playback, analyzing & viewing the images.  This one came with a 35mm (wide angle) lens which I use more for insulation, roof surveys... any application where I need a wider FOV.  As a service provider, I also like that it has a higher resolution 388x284 detector (not much more, but every pixel counts!).  The S version apparently doesn't have as many features as the TP8 (no bluetooth), but otherwise they should work about the same.

Check out my web page... all the photos were taken exclusively with these two cameras.  I think the photos tell it all.

Contact me through my web site if you need more info.
