Some may quibble with the installation of the required software but don't ignore the fact that this new IR camera is HIGHLY portable. Costs are rumored to be less than $1000 but we probably should not believe everything we hear and that may not include medical costs for the implant.

Although the sub $1000.00 mark is still, perhaps, a bit of a ways off, there is hope on the horizon.

This is a major breakthrough in LWIR imaging, and should, within a year or two, perhaps three, be a major breakthrough in price points for thermal imaging equipment.
